Oxley
filtered Visible NVG ‘Friendly’ External
Lighting was developed in response to customer requirements
to operate in controlled airspace during NVG training. A wide range
of fully FAA/CAA compliantfilter assemblies or LED based light units
are now available for the modification of the existing external
light units found on many aircraft types.

Not visible
to the human eye, the Oxley Near Infra Red (NIR) Covert
lights use the latest LED technology, which operates at the
optimum NVG response level. An extensive range of lights and light
housings have been developed to suit all applications.

upgrade kits, utility and dome light kits, filtered replacements
for Type III panel bulbs, and a novel approach to fire and undercarriage

Oxley
offer a standard range of dichroic, absorptive and laminated filters
for multi and single purpose applications. With colours defined
by MIL-L-85762A, and being RAE Working Paper No. 6 compliant, the
quality NVG/NVIS filters remove unwanted near infra-red emissions
from all types of display equipment. Notable are their characteristics
of good sunlight readability, high temperature resistance and very
high source photopic transmittance against low T2B.
With
a choice of Monolithic, LaminoxTM and coated glass filters now available,
Oxley can supply colours of green A and B, red, yellow A and B,
and UK white in thickness of 1 to 4 mm, and for use with incandescent,
CCFL, CRT and LED sources. Oxley can also provide a complete design
service for any customers requirements.
