The Oxley IL500 IR illuminator employs the latest IR LED technology, which provides an excellent alternative to conventional incandescent bulb systems. With its uniform beam, long operational life (typically 10 years), low power consumption and low to no maintenance the Oxley IL500 is the perfect solution for illuminating areas monitored by CCTV equipment.

With 504 LEDs integrated into the lamp housing and a cleverly designed power supply, our IR lighting is unique in offering a an illumination distance of typically 100 metres and above

The benefits of Infra-red illumination using LED technology are clear -

Long lamp life

No bulb changing - fit and forget

Low maintenance costs

Low power consumption

Easy to install and upgrade systems

Our infra-red illuminator's have been engineered to give CCTV systems designers and installers a powerful, high reliability and robust alternative to the traditional incandescent filament infra-red lamps. The Oxley range of IR lighting have been designed to withstand the most severe environmental conditions. Completely sealed units our IR illuminators have a IP66 rating and have no ventilation holes to let moisture into the lamp and reduce the life of the unit.

Night time infra-red lighting 'traditionally' uses mains voltage or low voltage incandescent lamps that employ a filter to remove the visible light. These lamps can prove unreliable due to unpredictable bulb failure and incur high replacement and maintenance costs. Repeated on/off cycling and low operating temperatures will shorten bulb life even further. The Oxley LED illuminator overcomes these operational and maintenance problems as our LED technology lasts 7 to 10 years without maintenance.
