Oxley is one of the few companies at the forefront of the development of planar capacitor arrays. Utilizing high quality ceramic technology, we supply planar arrays for most filter connector plan forms and configurations.
The multiway planar capacitor array is a single block of ceramic with multiple feedthrough lines. These can be capacitive, unfiltered or ground and offer increased flexibility in the design of EMI filter solutions.
 
Each line can be individually specified for its capacitance value and contact size. The versatility is achieved through a total in-house capability, including bespoke CAD/CAM design software.
Our planar component range varies from a simple two-line capacitor array to those in excess of 150 lines. Designs range from the military circular connector and D-type formats to unique customer defined layouts. Typical capacitance values vary from 10pF to 1.5uF and can withstand dielectric voltages up to 2.5kV.

Our compliant spring assembly is an innovative component that improves both the filter assembly and reliability. Fitted to each line, the spring contact removes the need for multiple solder operations. This advanced assembly technique increases the isolation of the ceramic elements from the thermal and mechanical stress, thereby providing a very rugged solution. |
