In a life rich with
innovation and creativity, Freddy Oxley eventually had over 150 patents
to his name.
From the beginning,
he was deeply involved with the radar industry - pushing the boundaries
of thought at that time.
On the instructions
of the UK Ministry of Aircraft Production the whole operation was moved
to the North of England, to Ulverston in 1942 and from these beginnings
the Company was to grow into the respected organisation it is today.
Freddy Oxley, an influential man with a will to succeed, realised that
he needed to develop a working team of creative minds who were actively
encouraged to look at innovative ways in which to improve and adapt products.
This attitude to innovation, quality and manufacturing excellence has
always been at the heart of the Company's success.
The diversification of our products has been a particular strength throughout
our history. From Telecommunications and aerospace to military technology,
lighting systems and data tagging, these diverse markets have enabled
us to develop solutions to a growing list of prestigious customers across
the world.
